Buffalo Academy in Greensboro is a licensed user of the Hillsdale College K-12 Curriculum. We follow the classical education model for instruction, and our curriculum is grounded in the Western tradition. Our class sizes are purposefully kept small and are taught by specially-selected and trained teachers.

 

The Bible and tenets of the Christian faith are taught daily. The curriculum concentrates on phonics, American art, history, and literature along with geography, science, and math in kindergarten through fifth grade.

 

Our students absorb moral virtues of good and evil through the scriptures and also through stories of heroes and villains that have been passed down through our cultural heritage. They learn to appreciate America’s founding principles as well as the responsibilities and gifts that accompany American citizenship.

 

In all things, our goal is to instill the love of beauty, the necessity of virtue, and the reward of wisdom that enables our students to live productive and prosperous lives in service to their communities, our state, and nation.
